Primary Duties
The Director is responsible for providing leadership and assessment of the i-Hub facility at Northeast Community College. This is accomplished by creating and implementing a sustainable revenue model, identifying successful models of operation, leading innovation in curriculum and entrepreneurship support, and collaborating with community members, business and industry, economic development, students and faculty to identify and integrate learning opportunities. The director will make big-picture decisions and offer solutions to difficult challenges while maintaining alignment with the mission, vision and values of Northeast Community College.
The normal work schedule will generally be 8am-5pm Monday through Friday; however, the schedule is subject to change depending upon demand. Some evenings and weekends may be required. Local and national travel will be required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be able to pass background, fingerprint, and regulatory requirements necessary to work with individuals under the age of 18.
Must have a valid driver’s license
3 years of industrial or supervisory experience required. Additional experience may substitute for required education.
Compensation Details
This position is in a Salary Grade PM6, with a minimum salary of $68,850 per annum. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.
