Recordkeeper – Plan Service Processor

  • Primary Duties
    • Serve as Senior Consultant for assigned plan group of clients, handling all cross-department communications, workflow and review all paperwork as needed
    • Assist with cross-department client guidelines to ensure the plan is meeting all retirement plan qualifications and make recommendations for changes when needed
    • Train on various new hire orientation trainings
    • Complete the following senior consultant tasks (inclusive of but not limited to) for assigned clients, meeting daily deadlines through accurate and efficient processing of:
      • Payroll integration inclusive of vendor/client communications
      • Assist with PensionPro reviews, cash, and asset reconciliation
      • Client communications, confirming banking instructions, outstanding A/R
      • Plan level investment changes, fund mergers, updates, and closures
      • Conversions and deconversions
      • Corrections and gain/loss calculations
      • Plan Amendments
      • Custodial and global fund setup
      • Employer, plan, and web setup
      • Quarterly Statements
      • Rate of Return
      • Global model realignment and rebalance
      • Quarterly and interim fees
      • Advisor and Plan updates
      • Review any unposted transactions, research, and resolve
      • Research and resolve plan discrepancies
      • Review and release transactions at custodian
      • Monitor recordkeeping inbox and address any emails
      • Monitor work tray and tasks in PensionPro continuously and complete all tasks
      • Communicate timely and efficiently using various channels
      • Serve as team’s back-up for cross coverage to meet department deadlines
      • Assist management
      • Special projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualifications:
    • Acquired ASPAA Retirement Plan Fundamentals certificate, working towards additional ASPAA certifications
    • 2-3 years experience in similar industry position

Compensation Details

Hours worked:

The following are guidelines of typical hours needed to complete the work during the year. The hours needed may vary depending on workload.

 

 

  • Primary hours will be normal trading business hours (7:30-4:30) working 40 hours per week.
  • During certain seasons some overtime may be necessary, ranging from approximately 41-50 hours when approved by management.
