Primary Duties
Behavioral Health Practitioners provide individual, didactic and group therapy consistent with the individual patient treatment needs. They provide input into treatment plans. They assess treatment needs of individual patients, incorporating information obtained through assessments, patient history, and direct observation. They collaborate with the treatment team in planning and evaluating effectiveness of patient treatment, and enhance and adjust the treatment approach and content based on individual and population needs. Therapists would share clinical observations with the treatment team. Duties also include compiling patient individual and group progress notes and documenting according to NRC standards and DHHS/NRC policies and procedures. Therapists participate in team and clinical meetings to address program concerns and needs. Attending and participating in program planning committes, in-service trainings, and department meetings is also expected. NRC is a state psychiatric hospital that treats adult males who have committed sexual offenses.

Compensation Details
$22.534/per hour for Practitioner I and $26.435/per hour for Practitioner II
Benefits
This position would be eligibile for the entire benefit package with the State of Nebraska.
