Primary Duties

Job Summary

This position will be an internal sales resource for all within the sales department. The Internal Sales Consultant will report to the Business Development Director but will be available to take direction from any other employee in the sales department. They will also be knowledgeable about RPC as a whole, able to connect with the responsible party for any project assigned by the Business Development Director.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create proposals and service quotes

  • Able to follow the RPC standard pricing structure

  • Create ad-hoc sales reporting requested by the sales department

  • Be a knowledgeable resource for the RPC Sales CRM

  • Schedule and document notes from any sales and/or new business meetings

  • Maintain agendas and follow up notes

  • Maintain deadlines for sales department

  • Upload census information to RPC plan design software

  • Create initial plan design illustrations

  • Pre-fill sales paperwork for Regional Directors

  • Review submitted sales paperwork for missing information

  • Find and qualify new Advisors that are a fit for the RPC service model

  • Initiate contact with these Advisors and create meeting opportunities for Regional Directors

  • Be a resource for technical questions from the sales team

  • Be a resource for sales-related questions from the operations side

  • Perform as a backup for Regional Directors on plan design calls, plan setup worksheet calls, and any other questions from existing Advisors, potential Advisors, and potential clients.

  • Understand and educate others on the Wealth Management Nebraska’s 3(38) Fiduciary Investment Management services

  • Communicate the RPC value, mission, and vision in all tasks

 


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer relationship building skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft applications required

  • Self-motivated

  • Ability to take direction from multiple parties at the same time

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Participate in all sales staff meetings/trainings

  • Reading of journals related to the financial planning area, specifically retirement plans


Compensation Details

Base pay may vary depending on experience.
