Primary Duties
Responsible for the independent supervision of the delivery of care to a group of residents on a nursing unit. Assess resident needs, develop individual care plans, administer nursing care, and evaluate nursing care. Supervise CNAs, MAs, Hospitality Aides, and other personnel. May supervise other LPNs/LVNs
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
QUALIFICATIONS *Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in practicing state *Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to geriatrics *Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance *Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS *Knowledge of infection control principles and practices *Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information *Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, other team members, and physicians.
