Primary Duties

Wayne State College is seeking a Sociology Adjunct Faculty Member. 

·         The Sociology program invites qualified applicants for a pool of part-time teaching appointments as needed. We are looking for candidates with direct experience and related education to teach one or more courses: Introduction to Sociology, Race and Ethnic Relations, The Family, Social Problems, and Sociology of Deviance. Adjunct faculty members should meet minimum HLC requirements for qualified faculty: a Ph.D. in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Sociology, or a Master’s degree outside the discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in sociology. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, or online/hybrid/blended courses.
