Primary Duties
The Preschool assistant teacher
- provides nurturing and loving care to all kids in the classroom
- works directly with the room supervisor to plan quality activities
- assists in classroom management
- is responsible for some light cleaning duties
- handles some communication with parents directly and electronically when room supervisor is not present
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To succeed in these positions you will need:
· A genuine interest in working with children
· A positive friendly attitude
· The ability to work on a team
· The ability to form warm, responsive relationships with children
· High level verbal and written communication skills
· Initiative and capacity to work under minimal supervision
· Be able to complete first aide and cpr training in the first 30 days (center paid)

Christ Lutheran Childcare offers competitive wages. Exact salary details are based on years of experience, level of education, and job responsibilities.
