Primary Duties
Patient scheduler is responsible for coordinating all aspects of patient scheduling so that patients arrive for their appointments. This person is responsible as the lead communication and routing point for the clinic, including but not limited to, "walk-in" inquires, incoming/ outgoing phone calls, mail, and routing messages and calls smoothly. Physical Therapy Tech assists the therapists with treatment and non-treatment related duties as deemed appropriate by therapist and within state law guidelines. Duties include; greeting patients, performing set up and clean up for treatments, housekeeping and laundry, and maintain equipment and supplies.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have phenomenal customer service, ability to easily learn an EMR scheduling system, be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment, ability to converse with patients, proficient in excel, answer a multi-line phone system, always willing to be a team player.
