Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel – Nebraska (NSNE) is seeking applicants for the position of Roll Mill Clerk. The Roll Mill Clerk’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, timesheet processing, production reporting, scheduling, and other duties assigned by the Manager or Supervisors.  This position will also be responsible for maintaining and communicating Rolling Mill production, yields, inventory management, tag adjustments, and bonus. Must be reliable in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • MS Excel functions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS Office Suite
  • QMOS and Oracle experience
