The successful candidate must be committed to the pursuit of excellence in safety, costs, product and process improvements and overall profitability of the division.
The role of the Cold Finish Metallurgist includes but is not limited to: develop practices to improve safety, quality, efficiency, yield, productivity, and costs. Develop and optimize operating procedures, minimize variability in the production process, coordinate with suppliers to develop steel grades for specialized applications, provide training to operating & maintenance teammates, and provide metallurgist assistance to technical service representatives and customers. The Cold Finish Metallurgist will work closely with the entire NCF team in order to maintain and improve all aspects of the Quality Management System in order to ensure excellent customer service. Moderate travel is expected.

1. Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy, Material Science Engineering, or similar technical field.
