Primary Duties
Under minimal supervision, this position will provide delivery of course instruction, facilitation of student learning and success, and on-going development of curriculum and learning strategies which meet the needs of students and employers with emphasis in electrical safety and regulatory issues as it relates to high voltage electrical work practices; knowledge of electrical equipment, connections and internal workings commencing at the substation and up to the disconnect and related safety procedures. Additionally, the instructor will collaborate with other faculty and staff members to provide quality instruction for a diverse student population and perform instructional duties and responsibilities in accordance with the philosophy, mission, and policies and procedures of the College.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Applicant should possess advanced oral and written communication skills; expertise and experience as a journeyman level lineman; exceptional human relations and problem-solving skills; proficient computer skills; ability to use new technology in the classroom; ability to use LMS as required by Northeast; ability to work collaboratively with others; dedication to a supportive and positive working environment; ability to adhere to all Northeast policies and procedures as well as the Faculty Handbook.
Compensation Details
The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range
