Primary Duties

Job Summary

 Responsible for managing all day-to-day commercial sales activities for all product lines.  Provide field support to sales reps, accountable for achievement of sales goals, coordinate territory coverage, and provide product support.  Work closely with Director of Sales, Product Managers, and various departments to assure the sales department functions smoothly and according to company policy.  Required to perform personnel supervision and sales management/administrative duties.  Responsible to create the best possible customer experience by managing all day-to-day commercial sales activities for all product lines

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities

 SALES

  • Make calls with reps as necessary.
  • Resolve customer problems/concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales goals and motivate reps to achieve goals.
  • Develop and implement plans to gain new customers and increase sales with existing customers.
  • Support company marketing promotions created by Product Managers.
  • Identify, create & execute programs to address vertical market selling opportunities.
  • Major emphasis on less established territories.
  • Primary sales support for major transactions.
  • Meet with sales staff regularly to allow feedback and communication.
  • Work with Product Managers to maintain and increase sales.
  • Assist with location sales meetings.
  • Communicate with Director of Sales regarding any problems or concerns regarding products, procedures, or sales territory management.

ADMINSTRATION

  • Assist and conduct training of sales personnel.
  • Work with corporate and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure reps are being held to accountability measures.
  • Work with appropriate Corporate Managers on inventory control, system management, product ordering, personnel policies/procedures, and order processing.
  • Attend regional sales meetings, departmental meetings, and manufacturers meetings as requested.
  • Actively promote Eakes in the community.

 PERSONNEL

  • Effectively supervise sales personnel for optimum performance and compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct/approve performance reviews within time frames.
  • Work as liaison between various departments to insure communication, cooperation, etc.
  • Assist and conduct interviews for prospective sales personnel

  OTHER DUTIES AS MAY BE ASSIGNED


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

Qualifications

  • High School Education or Equivalent
  • College Education Desirable
  • 3+ Years Sales Experience Required
  • 1+ Years Supervisory Experience Desirable

Other

 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer relation skills.
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Majority of activity in management/administrative duties.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
