Primary Duties

 

C2A3, a 501c3 organization hosted by Northeast Community College, is currently an alliance of nine community colleges in eight states throughout the Midwest. With new funding from USDA, this consortium is expected to grow to over 50 institutions from across the United States over the next four years. C2A3 will focus on the development of ag pathways, credentials, and hands-on experiential learning activities; the development of a student leadership program; the delivery of training programs for NRCS staff; and the development of professional development for high school and college agriculture educators. The Outreach Coordinator will support the Director and will work alongside three other team members. This is a fully remote or hybrid remote position. Travel to Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE, is expected at a minimum of two times per year. Occasional travel to other partner institutions and conferences is also expected.

The purpose of this position is to identify and meet the needs of Center stakeholders, industry, secondary, and post-secondary educators through coordination of activities and linkages. Manage stakeholder relationships. Promote the use and adoption of Center products and resources. Build regional and nationwide relationships between institutions of higher education through the development of regional consortiums and the Center national networking programs. Recruit Center partners and members through outreach initiatives.
This is accomplished by: Maintaining contact with stakeholders to identify current and emerging needs, providing insight to program staff. Engaging with stakeholders and potential stakeholders and promoting Center products and resources. Attending conferences and other events to promote Center activities, products, and resources. Maintaining the Center website and resources that are shared throughout the network.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Over three years up to and including five years.


Compensation Details

This position is in a Salary Grade PM4, with a starting salary $51,264 per annum. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.
