Primary Duties

C2A3, a 501c3 organization hosted by Northeast Community College, is currently an alliance of nine community colleges in eight states throughout the Midwest. With new funding from USDA, this consortium is expected to grow to over 50 institutions from across the United States over the next four years. C2A3 will focus on the development of ag pathways, credentials, and hands-on experiential learning activities; the development of a student leadership program; the delivery of training programs for NRCS staff; and the development of professional development for high school and college agriculture educators. The Director will lead these efforts with four other team members. This is a fully remote or hybrid remote position. Travel to Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE, is expected at a minimum of two times per year. Occasional travel to other partner institutions and conferences is also expected.

The C2A3 Center Director will provide leadership for the day-to-day management of the Center’s initiatives from Northeast and partner stakeholders. This will include planning conferences, supervising the development of curriculum, developing marketing materials and web presence, overseeing production of webinars, workshops and podcasts, tracking budgets and client use of developed materials, supervising center staff, and coordinating board and committee calls and meetings. The Director participates in internal planning initiatives and leads teams in the development of grant funded strategic projects. The selected candidate will, furthermore, provide support to the Grant Principal Investigator as required.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

An experienced professional with previous higher education and/or association experience preferred. 


Compensation Details

This position is in a Salary Grade PM7, with a starting salary between $83,430 to $113,557 per annum. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.
