Primary Duties
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Water Resources Manager to join our team. Under the guidance and supervision of the General Manager and Assistant Manager, this individual will be responsible for the administration of the Lower Elkhorn Natural Resources District Groundwater Management Plan, Voluntary Integrated Management Plan, Drought Management Plan, Water Quality Management Plan, and all other ground and surface water programs and issues.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Comprehensive knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulation regarding groundwater and surface water resources.
· Comprehensive understanding of geology, agronomy, environmental monitoring, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and groundwater modeling
· Ability to establish productive relationships with Federal, State, and Local government officials, employees, co-workers, and a diverse set of stakeholders
· Ability to effectively communicate orally, and in writing, and an ability to interpret and prepare comprehensive technical and administrative reports
· Ability to supervise, plan, and evaluate the work of subordinate staff
Compensation Details
This is a full-time, salaried position with an attractive benefits package. Hiring salary range: $69,180 to $101,774 annually, depending upon qualifications and relevant experience.
