LOCATION: Norfolk, NE

JOB TYPE: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

ABOUT US: Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership is seeking dedicated Classroom Support to join our Early Head Start Program at our Northern Hills Center location. This position offers 40 hours per week with an hourly wage plus benefits. 

JOB SUMMARY: As a Nutrition/Classroom Support staff you will ensure nutritious meals are served at scheduled times, in accordance with Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Monitor the program’s nutrition paperwork including menus/menu changes, daily production records and other documents to ensure compliance with the CACFP. Ensure required nutrition reports are completed and posted in a timely manner while abiding by the Program/State Kitchen Inspection Reports. Ensure that food is labeled and stored following the Food and Safety Sanitation requirements. Perform kitchen and other cleaning duties as required by the center. Assist the Teacher in planning and carrying out the educational activities of the center as needed. Frequent kneeling, stooping, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.  Possess basic computer skills. Maintain confidentiality of program participants and follow Program and Agency standards and policies. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Compensation Details

WAGE & BENEFITS: The starting wage is $14.50 per hour plus benefits.
