Primary Duties
Register patients for examination by collecting/verifying patient information, insurance, and other essential information.
Politely answer telephones in a timely manner to schedule appointments, take messages, forward calls to appropriate personnel, and handle questions according to policies and procedures.
Enter co-pays received in the billing system and balance money entered at the end of each shift
Handle paperwork as needed
Phone patients regarding appointment reminders and missed appointments, charting the appropriate information in the patient's chart
Perform other duties as requested by Physicians, Nurses, Clinic Manager, or Supervisor
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Computer experience required
At least 6 months of customer service experience required
Must have a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Strong organizational skills Ability to work well with others, including the general public
Compensation Details
The starting wage is base pay plus experience.
Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
