Primary Duties
Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership is looking for a BILINGUAL PROGRAM AIDE person to work with our WIC and Immunizations Programs. Work location is in the Pender Central Office. 40 hours per week, M-F. Hourly wage plus benefits. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills required. Will assist in the day-to-day operation and organization of the WIC and Immunization Programs.

JOB SUMMARY:
Bilingual Program Aide will answer phones and return messages in a professional manner and collect information regarding client needs and advise of available services and resources across all agency programs. Translate information both verbal and written as needed. Assist clients with scheduling appointments, send out
reminder notices and update yearly clinic calendars. Assist Program Directors with clerical duties and maintain complete and accurate records of all program information. Responsible for screening immunization clients and enter data into the Immunization database. Assess household gross income and explain proper use of eWIC card, WIC ID card, and appointment cards to participants. Travel to assigned clinics as requested. Lifting up to and including 50 pounds. Routine cleaning of work site. Attend trainings as requested. Maintain confidentiality of program participants and follow Program and Agency standards and policies.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. Basic skills in word processing, email and data entry. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills required.
Compensation Details
The starting wage is $15.00 per hour plus benefits.
