Primary Duties


At Daycos we rely on our IT systems to enable our stakeholders to succeed with the technology we provide. Daycos is seeking a Systems Administrator who is eager to use and grow their technical knowledge. In this role, the successful individual will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy.


Position Accountabilities

  • Perform SysOps server administration tasks ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly. May include user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring.
  • Primary contact for Help Desk support, assisting in troubleshooting, identifying root cause, and providing technical support when needed.
  • Monitor system health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise. Assist in building, testing and maintaining new servers as needed.
  • Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phone, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments. 
  • Maintain and install Daycos' proprietary applications and ensure all applications are operating as needed for end users.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and consultants as directed. 
  • Enable agile business practices, own projects and key responsibilities within larger business initiatives.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



·     Technical training in an Information Technology related field


·      3-5 years of helpdesk or system admin support


·     Broad Knowledge of MS Azure, AWS, Active Directory, OS Knowledge including Windows, Windows Server, Linux and Mac, Office 365


·     Knowledge and experience with tools such as Docker, Ansible, Manage Engine, DNS Filter, and commercial backup solutions


·     Demonstrable skill with Group Policy, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, along with scripting language experience such as Powershell and Bash


·     Experience with design, installation, maintenance, and support for all aspects of Daycos’ WAN/LAN network infrastructure 

·   Experience working, supporting, and maintaining remote and hybrid stakeholders
