Primary Duties

The Adult Education Integrated Education and Training (IET) coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and establishing IET opportunities for adult education students. This will be accomplished by developing additional partnerships within the college and local employers, adhering to state and federal guidelines, and collaborating with the Adult Education Director monthly. They will be responsible for recruiting, registering, scheduling, completing assessments, tracking student attendance hours, ensuring IET is following federal guidelines, distance opportunities, and coordinating follow up activities. This position will also assist with grant development, implementation and oversight.

Additional duties include lead teacher for IET’s programming, supervising IET staff, curriculum development for all IET efforts, and serve as the liaison for the South Sioux City site. As the liaison, they will be responsible for coordinating classrooms at the South Sioux City Extended Campus, serve as the main point of contact for staff at that location, develop office and teaching schedules for the South Sioux City location, provide assistance with testing and registration, support the department with grant development, implementation, and reporting and meet bi-weekly with Adult Education Director. 

Qualifications: Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.

Qualifications: Experience

Over one year up to and including three years in the adult education field.

Compensation Details

Starting wage $16.48 per hour. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.


This position is eligible for Northeast Community College’s excellent full-time fringe benefits package. Cash-in-lieu of Health Insurance may be available depending upon successful candidate’s coverage enrollment.
