Primary Duties

The purpose of this position is to instruct classes and labs as assigned by the Dean and to develop new courses. This is accomplished by maintaining requisite office hours; providing academic advisement to students; serving on college committees; attending meetings; participating in professional development activities; and performing all instructional-related activities as directed within the policies, guidelines, and regulations of Northeast Community College.

This position will report to the Veterinary Technician Program Director.

Qualifications: Education

Associate Degree and Veterinary Technician License required

Qualification: Experience 

1-3 years experience working with large animals in a veterinary clinical setting is required  

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates that are selected for an interview will be expected to demonstrate teaching ability by presenting a twenty minute lesson on a topic of his/her choice related to veterinary science.  

Compensation Details

Position starts with the Spring 2023 semester. Salary is based on the faculty salary schedule.


This position is eligible for Northeast Community College’s excellent full-time fringe benefits package. Cash-in-lieu of Health Insurance may be available depending upon successful candidate’s coverage enrollment.
