Primary Duties

The purpose of this position is to coordinate project management functions within the marketing team, fulfill campaign placements, provide copywriting, design and proofreading support for marketing office, act as a liaison and connection with academic programs and support student communications. This is accomplished by project management functions which will include project intake review and follow up as needed, ensuring projects are completed on time and as needed, and managing quotes and bids. This position will serve as a power user of the marketing team project management system. Campaign fulfillment will include coordination with other marketing department staff to ensure all elements of planned campaigns are executed and trafficked as planned. The position will provide support for copywriting functions, revisions to existing design files and proofreading for marketing office. Liaison with academic programs will encompass engaging with programs on what’s happening, news stories, content development and marketing campaign updates. Student communication support will be accomplished by working with college partners to develop and streamline communications to current and prospective students while tracking and managing analytics, and evaluating and optimizing communications based on data.

Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
This position has the opportunity for a hybrid schedule

Qualifications: Education

A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications is required.

Qualifications: Experience

2 years of marketing and project management experience required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Requires the ability to apply marketing knowledge related to marketing campaigns, advertising, social media and promotional development and planning. Excellent proofreading and strong project management skills, the ability to multi-task, set priorities within tight timelines, excellent proofreading skills, communication skills, and ability to work successfully with internal customers, provide courteous customer service, and conform to deadlines required. Must have creative and graphic design skills and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus. 

Compensation Details

The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range. 


This position is eligible for Northeast Community College’s excellent full-time fringe benefits package. Cash-in-lieu of Health Insurance may be available depending upon successful candidate’s coverage enrollment.
