Primary Duties

The purpose of this position is to record student information and be an effective ambassador for Adult Education. This is accomplished by providing necessary reports, scheduling tests as needs, answering the telephone, greeting walk-ins, working with other staff in department, providing released information, processing mail, and entering necessary information on computer.

Qualifications: Education   

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications: Experience 

Requires at least 1 year of related experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Requires strong telephone, computer, organizational and communication skills, and ability to work successfully with the public, provide courteous customer service, and conform to deadlines. Bilingual or multilingual language capability desired but not required (Spanish preferred).  

Compensation Details


Starting wage of $16.48 per hour.

The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range. 



This position is eligible for Northeast Community College’s excellent full-time fringe benefits package. Cash-in-lieu of Health Insurance may be available depending upon successful candidate’s coverage enrollment.
