Primary Duties
Midwest Bank Norfolk is looking to fill the position of Compliance Officer. This position is primarily responsible for the compliance of Bank policies, procedures, regulatory rules and guidelines. This position is also responsible for training employees on changes or amendments made to policies, procedures & regulatory rules. Compliance Officer must report to the CEO any compliance violations and report to the Board of Directors the compliance results.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Applicant must be detail oriented, self-motivated and an effective time manager. Good verbal and written communication skills as well as good computer skills are desired. Minimum of 2-year finance or banking degree is required along with three to five years bank compliance experience.
