Primary Duties
1. Provide direct patient care
2. Participate in review, development, and training of patient care policies, procedures, protocols, and standing orders.
3. Provide teaching and clinical supervision to nursing or support staff and trainees.
4. Accepts responsibility for remaining current with Behavioral Health, Medical and other health care trends and information that influence their practice.
5. Assists in maintaining an efficient, safe, secure, orderly, and aseptic environment of care for all patients and employees.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to comply with all safety and health standards, rules and regulations, and orders issues under OSHA.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Ability to interpret oral or written instructions.
Time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of advanced principles of health promotion, prevention, and motivation.
Ability to navigate EHR, Nexus, and communicable disease reporting systems.
