Primary Duties
Plan, organize, conduct and supervise activities within a therapeutic activity program. Conduct member's level of functioning to reflect social needs, abilitys and interests for activities. May coordinate with other professional staff to evaluate activity placement. Coordinate and manage department funding and budget. Participate in member care plan meetings to provide input and progress of member'ss activities as it relates to therapy program. Supervise and training subordiante personnel in carrying out activites. Establish and maintain contact with community organizations to stimulate interest and participation in activity programs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in recreation management, recreation therapy, occupational therapy, vocational rehabilitation or related field and more than a year of experience in a therapy or activity setting. Experience working in a therapy or activity program can be substituted for education on a year by year basis. Must have a valid drivers license.
Compensation Details
$20.788/hr plus $3 differential for every hour worked
