Primary Duties

Job Summary: The Business Analysts' primary responsibilities involve providing strategic analysis relating to the overall healthcare industry, as well as inpatient/outpatient, physician and non-acute aspects of the marketplace. Complete strategic planning and business development projects of quantitative and qualitative nature. Monitor, research, analyze, prepare and present written and verbal reports on internal, environmental and strategic topics as identified by the Executive Team as determinants of organizational growth and performance. Manage short-term and long-term projects that support organizational strategic goals. Leverages internal and external data, market analytics, market intelligence and knowledge of hospital, physician and health care trends to inform and recommend enterprise-wide initiatives.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Job Requirements: 

Associate's Degree required.

Bachelors or Master's Degree preferred.

Current, valid driver's license issued in the state of legal residence required.

Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Language Skills – Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.

Ability to lead the entire range of problem solving work from problem definition to analysis, recommendation and the development of implementation plans required.

Ability to translate and communicate complex topics in a variety of forums, tailoring communications to effectively fit and influence the targeted audience; strong executive presence, presentation and communication skills required.

Strong client interfacing skills and ability to effectively interact with a wide range of clinical teams including physicians, service line leaders and administration required.

Ability to analyze and interpret data including translating analytics into meaningful strategies required. 

Statistical software, database management and/or decision support systems preferred.

Experience within business development, marketing, strategic planning or operations preferred.

Tableau experience preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
