Primary Duties
Work involves preparing a wide variety of written informational materials to educate the public, including newsletter articles and press releases, fact sheets, posters, and display ads; coordinating audio/visual information; website development and social media marketing. Consulting with individuals from government agencies, community organizations, schools, and citizen advisory groups is also important.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate should possess social, organizational, and teamwork skills; have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
