Primary Duties
-Set up and operate equipment including but not limited to: CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Saws, Manual Mills & Lathes.
-Interpret drawings, instructions, or part samples.
-Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments.
-Monitor production, adjusting settings as necessary.
-Check accuracy of work for quality assurance and report defects.
-Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-Direct attention to safety.
-College degree in machining related course.
-Ability to use precision tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, etc.).
-Knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials.
-Communicate well with team members and customers.
-Get jobs done efficiently and effectively.
-Pay close attention to detail.
-Physical stamina and strength to lift moderate weight items.
**Experience preferred - new graduates encouraged to apply**
**Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Gibbs CAM preferred**
