Primary Duties
The Application Developer’s role is to design, code, test, and analyze web, database, and data integration applications; administer and configure enterprise applications; troubleshoot and test application performance; and manage technology projects that facilitate the achievement of business outcomes and improve business efficiency and processes through all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Application Developers assist other developers, analysts, designers, and functional users in conceptualizing, scoping, and developing new software programs and applications and continuous improvements to those that already exist in the organization; assist in the research, preparation, and documentation of software requirements and specifications; and appropriately plan phases of the SDLC for a variety of applications and systems including, but not limited to, Northeast’s ERP system (Banner), CRM systems (Salesforce), websites, user applications, automation systems, integration platforms, portals (SharePoint), and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server).
Other duties include: 
  • Accountable for miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned or required.
  • Maintain familiarity with the college and division strategic plans and policies. Promote quality customer service. 
Qualifications: Education
Associates degree required. Bachelors degree preferred.
Qualifications: Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in application development or related field is a requirement of this position.  

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This job title requires advanced skills and knowledge in approaches and systems, which affect the design and implementation of major programs and/or processes.

Compensation Details

This position is a salary grade 722 with a minimum starting salary of $66,555 per annum. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience.
