Job Summary: Speech-language pathologist will work to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. Opportunities in the areas of acute care, acute rehabilitation, home health, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings. Maintains efficient and effective department operation while demonstrating compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. Provides Speech-Language Pathology services consistent with Speech-Language Pathologist performance standards. Serves as a role model for the Speech-Language Pathology staff. CFY welcome to apply!!
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of speech language pathology by the Council on Academic Accreditation in audiology and speech-language pathology required.
Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
Certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification required.
Current Speech Language Pathology license from the State of Nebraska, or eligible from the State of Nebraska required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within one full month from date of hire required.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.
Entry level computer skills required.
Current, valid driver's license issued in the state of legal residence required.
Operate FRHS owned vehicles required.
