Primary Duties
Roughing in, terminating and testing copper cabling. Fiber termination experience is a plus
Installing pathway supports such as j-hooks and ladder trays
Servicing/troubleshooting network cabling in a commercial environment
Installing closet hardware including backboards, connecting blocks, racks, patch panels and fiber enclosures
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualifications and Skills
Technical skills and knowledge of structured cabling systems
Ability to follow blueprints, notes and specifications.
Excellent time management, planning and decision making skills.
Enjoys hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a professional team with a positive and professional attitude.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s License
- Drug and fitness test
