Primary Duties

Job Summary:   This position will perform general billing duties for HHC/Hospice as assigned by the Manager of Patient Financial Services. Additionally, this position will work collaboratively with the HHC/Hospice Director, Staff, Registration, Coding, other Patient Financial office staff, and third-party payers during the processing and collection of accounts. This position is responsible for all billing and follow-up of all insurance claims for accounts registered at Faith Regional listed with medical coverage. This position will also bill and monitor self-pay balances.

Job Requirements:

GED or High School Diploma preferred.

Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Language Skills – Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.

Computer skills and knowledge required.
