Primary Duties
As an Engineer within our Norfolk, NE Office, you will assist with the preparation of engineering documents, complete design calculations, and provide construction observation. You will also coordinate with other Mclaury Engineering office, professional staff, technical staff, and clients. Occasional travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings.
We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Norfolk, Elk Point, SD, Parkston, SD, or Sioux Falls, SD office locations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong Math and Science background
Familiarity with
Drainage Concepts (Culverts, Storm Sewers, Detention Ponds, etc...)
Roadway Design (Municipal streets, County Highways, State Highways, and Interstate Offramps & Expressways)
Municipal Engineering (City Streets, Storm Sewers, Sanitary Sewers, Watermains, forcemains, liftstations, water towers, pump stations, lagoons)
Land Development (Residential and Commercial)
