The Norfolk Area Chamber is looking for an all-star who is resilient, able to balance multiple projects and initiatives, an excellent communicator, a motivated self-starter who loves working with and leading people, and has a desire to make a big difference for the Chamber and the Norfolk business community to be our next Membership Development Director!
The Membership Development's primary role is to maintain current relationships with members while seeking new opportunities for the Chamber. Additionally, the director will encourage and monitor utilization of Chamber benefits and services by members with the understanding that engaged members tend to have higher levels of satisfaction. A balance of charisma, enthusiasm, determination, comfort with technology and a true enjoyment of working with people is required to be successful in this role

Compensation Details
Membership Development is base salary plus commission. Employed provided IRA match.
Benefits
Employer provided 3% IRA match, there are no Health benefits provided.
