Primary Duties

The mission of Faith Regional Health Services is to serve Christ by providing all people with exemplary medical services in an environment of love and care.


Job Summary:  Prepares, serves, seasons, cooks  and bakes food for patients, employees, physicians, visitors and special functions.  Prepares salads, desserts and cold food items, as well.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Job Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent preferred. 

Technical training in Institutional Cooking preferred. 

Prefer 1-4 years' experience in hospital or restaurant setting. 

Must possess effective communication skills both oral and written. 

Leadership and organizational skills are needed to prioritize and coordinate duties as assigned.  Effective communicator with self-motivation and a positive attitude maintained throughout.  Must be a self-starter, decision-maker and team player able to maintain productivity. 

Must have appropriate hygiene according to state and federal regulations.
