Primary Duties
Summary:
Performs general clerical duties as determined by supervisor(s). Responsible for preparing reports, meeting minutes, memos, correspondence, pleadings, legal documents, and forms. Performs related office duties such as filing and answering the telephone(s). Provides administrative assistant support and coordinates the schedules of the Legal Counsel.

1. Ability to apply knowledge of patient rights, safety rights, safety practices, infection control principles, and risk management issues.
2. Must follow policies and procedures of department and hospital.
3. Exerts a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
4. Compelled to work well individually and as part of a team with a positive team-based attitude and an eagerness to learn and dive into fast-paced projects.
5. Capable of working in a timely manner and meeting critical deadlines.
6. Ability to manage many administrative duties.
7. Communication skills and ability to follow-through, both verbal and written, with clients, firm members, and other business contracts.
8. Must have sensitivity to confidential matters and be attentive to exceptional client service as top priority.
Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.

EDUCATION (Minimum Requirements for Position):
Associate degree preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

Language Skills – Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF preferred.
